The Croesus Track cuts through the Paparoa Ranges between Blackball in the Grey Valley and the coastal town of Barrytown. Along with being visually stunning, it is a perfect track for people who are new to tramping.

Along with the amazing scenery, vegetation and wildlife, there is a wealth of relics from the region's gold mining days It's a beautiful walk into the landscape of the Paparoa Ranges. Croesus Track is one of the few West Coast Tracks that rises over 100 metres above sea level. The high points of the track provide stunning views of the Southern Alps and the sea.
